NBC Moving Donnellys to Friday Night
April 3rd, 2007 by Greg
So, it looks as though NBC will move The Black Donnellys to the dreaded Friday night slot. Since there’s no renewal for a second season and no promises from NBC either way it’s expected to be the death of the program. On Monday night’s the Donnellys have been less then impressive dropping in the rankings again and again and the execs at NBC are said to of already had enough with the show. Unfortunately the show will be replaced by yet another brainless reality program that really has no place on television.

April 2nd, 2007 by Greg
Reports from Variety.com are claiming that NBC has pulled The Black Donnellys from the 10 o’clock Monday position in favor of “Crashers” a new comedy based on the Wedding Crashers movie.
UPDATE 11:00PM Monday Night: NBC is indeed running a commercial for the show and claims it will debut Monday nights on April 23. It did not mention a time slot, but with Heroes and Deal or No Deal on this night its undeniably The Black Donnellys on the out.
More on this as I hear it.

Black Donnellys Up Against NCAA Championship
April 2nd, 2007 by Greg
This is going to be a big night for “The Black Donnellys” as they are up against CBS’ telecast of the NCAA national championship. The Donnellys have slighty decreased in ratings in the last few weeks and are hoping that viewership levels off this week and makes a run towards catching up with CBS’ “CSI: Miami” telecast in the upcomding weeks to follow.

The Black Donnellys, Studio 60 Debate.
April 1st, 2007 by Greg

Can’t we all just get along?? Why can’t both programs co-exist with one another, having the Studio 60 program roll on a different night. I see a lot of debate on the internet as to which is better. Well if ratings are any indication then The Black Donnellys are the clear cut winners here. The have consistently beaten out the ratings that Studio 60 had in that time slot. Solution: move the program to a different time slot, preferably on a different night and then see how it does. For Studio 60 fans: here’s some potentially good news: According to Hollywood Reporter columnist Ray Richmond, the show is still in production, and the cast and crew are currently working on episode 20.

Tom Guiry in Upcoming Movie
March 31st, 2007 by Greg

Tom Guiry will be in the upcoming movie “Superheroes”
Superheroes is set in New York City and centers around a 13 year old from Brooklyn (Sammer) who occasionally travels into Manhattan with friends to steal video cameras from tourists. Sammer is a slightly quirky, fantasy prone teenager who lives alone with his blind foster mother and has plans to leave the city. As soon as he can save enough money, be released from probation and help his foster mother to regain her failing vision, Sammer intends to travel to far away lands and explore the world, a world he sees primarily through the stolen videotapes of tourists. As we learn about Sammer and his working class neighborhood, we are introduced to other characters who weave in and out of his life, characters that include: a juvenile probation officer who doesn’t like juveniles, an ex-con who steals puppies and a street prophet who’s trying to commit suicide. Superheroes is a quirky story about many people and many things, incorporating a fragmented narrative, found footage and other people’s home video footage. It’s the story of ordinary people who find themselves in extraordinary circumstances, blurring the line between being human and being superhuman. (From IMDB.com)

“Ice Cream” Pulls a Quick One?
March 30th, 2007 by Greg

The conspiracy theory. I’ve been reading around the internet that some people believe that Joey “Ice Cream” may be in actuality telling a huge lie. He is seemingly in every place that the Donnellys are, and most of the time its for no particular reason. Many believe that he is drawing up this elaborate story to have something to feed the cops as he is held, and in any moment you will meet the real Donnelly brothers, nothing like he had said. This could be a great twist to the plot as it would send evertihng out of whack, however the way I see it is that Joey is telling the truth the best a liar can. He is being some what truthful with the officers and I believe that although some things he says do seem a bit out of whack hes telling it the best he can.
