Save this show. If you are not going to put id back on NBC at least give it a shot on the USA network.

I am biggining to think that NBC is becoming more like the CW(UPN. If you cancel the Donnelleys i will not watch any more, no more Connan, Jay, or Poker After Dark for me. that is all you have worth watching now that you are geetting rid of the Donnelleys. you currently suck NBC. Get used to the term “BOCOTT”

TBD was the only show I watched on NBC. If you are going to cancel it, give it to station that will do something with it. I think you are making a big mistake.

The Black Donnelly’s is one of the most interesting and well written shows on television at present. Following the realism of The Soprano’s the show holds its own. The young actors are extremly believable and make their characters come to life.
This show has a pulse and a heartbeat, its television for adults, its real, its gritty, its solid through-out.
I find it shameful you would pull off such a well written show for some thoughtless nonsense show. We are smarter then that, who wants another reality show? Another one…
If you are going to have a show represent your company have a show which gives you some pride and says something not some useless nonsense to fill up the hour.
Please save The Black Donnelly’s, its a smart show, well written, well casted and well acted. It needs to be shown on television not online, I am in Canada we can’t see it online and its the sort of show that needs to be watched in HD not on some computer monitor.
This show deserves more air-time then you gave it and you stoppped promoting it right after the premiere, perhaps you were the one that failed it not it failing you.
We are not stupid, give us something smart to watch, give us back The Black Donnelly’s, there is so much more to Tommy, Jimmy’s, Kevin and Shaun’s life to tell…. they have so much more to say… the story has only just begun

I am amazed how far out of touch NBC is with an audience that would be willing to watch quality programming on non-cable TV!
TBD is an excellent program. As an adult viewer I don’t want any more brainless, predictable and copy-cat programming. I can watch most of the rest of NBC’s (and CBS’s and ABC’s) programming for that.
Maybe some NBC exec has the courage to acknowledge taking TBD off the air is a mistake but if not NBC is continuing down their long path of losing their viewers to cable and the (few) other quality shows of CBS and ABC.
Recognize you don’t have a better program to replace the Donnelly’s
and bring it back!

The Black Donnelly’s is the best new show I have seen in a LONG time come from NBC. It definately has a fan base and it has the qualities it takes to stick around for some time. Keep it!!

I thought the first show was a little slow, so I started taping it after the first half hour. When I watched the rest of it the next day, the story really started to grab me, and I was somehow drawn to the characters and how they were developing. I was really starting to enjoy the show. NBC, please put it back on the air. It’s one of the few shows I like on your station.
By the way, can someone tell me how to sign the petition?

It’s so typical of network television to attempt to remove quality programs only to make room for god awful reality based programs which only get worse and worse. NBC needs to realize that The Black Donnellys is not only a good show but it has the potential to grow into an even better show if it is given the chance to develop. If canceling a show in the first season due to low ratings is NBC’s reasoning then they need to think about it very closely and how a similiar situation in the past could have cost them everything.
I am speaking of course about Seinfeld when it first aired and received little recognition from fans or critics. I am one of the biggest fans of Seinfeld and will to this day debate that it is one of the most well written, intelligent and best sitcoms ever. But the show did poorly for the first 3 or 4 seasons until the writing improved and fans could not get enough of it. If NBC had decided to cancel the show they would have made the biggest mistake of all time because the show is hailed as one of the greatest sitcoms. It received low ratings for nearly 4 seaons until it took off and became great. The same thing is happening here and NBC needs to understand that. The Black Donnellys may have started off on the wrong foot with having the story being told in flash back sequences and by killing off the heads of the Irish and Italian mobs but the online episodes are getting better and I do not want to see it come to an end anytime soon. The show is just starting to progress and there is no reason to remove it and to have awful programs like “Thank God You’re Here” or whatever stupid ad-lib crap they’re trying to make room for.

Every week I look forward to downloading this show. Each episode is like a mini-movie. TBD should not be canceled; it is one of the best shows out there.
