NBC, please try to find a way to keep this show running, either a later time spot on some other day, you have loyal fans to this show already and it just started. If you can’t carry it for another complete season, sign up for just enough to tie up loose ends, to tell us why Joey Ice Cream is in the slammer, if Joey is ratting the Donnellys out or if he is covering for something, if Jenny will get with Tommy, if Jimmy and the other boys will go to jail themselfs, who will take over the neighborhood; the Irish or the Italians, If you absolutly cant air this program or sell it to another network, have the writers get a book deal to play out the rest of the story. We love this show, its really hard to see this good of writing, acting, filming, and editing go right down the tubes. Save this show.

please please please don’t cancel this show, so many people love it, and i think between the emails, the petition, the phone calls, and everything else that is being done should be proof enough that there is a solid fan base out there, and give time that fanbase will continue to grow, but you need to give us a chance here.

I never get involved in something like, this but hell. Im a college student and I can tell you me and my friends flip from 24 to the Black Donnelly’s every Monday. It seems like the show is taking off over the last couple of weeks, let them take the show. NBC’s last in ratings already, and if Vince Vaughns not in the Wedding Crasher spoff, good luck.

I as well am a college student and a lot of my friends love the Black Donnellys. I even got people who rarely watch TV get into it and enjoy it. You guys didn’t even give it a good enough chance to let it fly with rates…it’s seriously still starting even if it came out Feb. 26th. But people are picking up on it, and now you dump this all on us. Give The Black Donnellys a chance and bring it back..even if you got to do it at a different day or time, I’m still devoted to it and I know there are a lot others who are as well and are with me when they are asking you to give this show another chance.

Dear NBC, please do something with the Black Donnelys, but dont cancel it. You see this is the one show that kept me watching after hereos would not air. Its true maybe the first people was a little slow, but the ending of the pilot was amazing. And the episodes ahve been getting so much better ever since. So please, you have a winner on your hands, and i know that its not that much money to keep putting out this show, unlike Studio 60 which has big stars in it that require alot of cash. Please, keep the show, my friends have been telling theirs, and i’m telling you, they all go online to check up on the old episodes. The writers are some of the best ever so at least talk to them. Please do not cancel this show. Do the powers that be have ADD? It often takes a little time for the best shows to find their audience, and it seems that you have not been willing to dedicate one ounce of marketing energy to helping this show find its audience. I stumbled across the show simply because I’m an Arcade Fire fan and read something about it online. The fact is, so many people, myself included, have given up on network television because the quality has become increasingly worse, and these are the folks that need to be drawn back in. You would do well to remember that. The Black Donnellys deserves a chance.

This show is so well done. Why not give it a chance. How many shows started slow then became hugh hits after 2 or 3 seasons. NBC this show is a breath of fresh air to your network of Law and Order monopoly. Those are good but this is something different and great. Please reconsider.

This show is great to me and I like viewing the mobster ways through a different set of eyes(The Irish). I mean this show kept me hooked and was the only thing that made me look forward to mondays(besides heroes) Please don’t cancel this show..PLEASE.

NBC, you have two good shows the Office and the Black Donnelys. Why are you gonna cut it own to one? In all honesty i watch very little TV and this is the one show that really kept me hooked it was like The Sopranos on steroids. I am incredibly dissapointed in your decision and at least give it a second shot. If you wont even do that release the season on DVD.

I know you guys at NBC are all business but there are plenty of people like me who will agree that TBD has the best acting an writing of any of the other popular shows. Every Tuesday in my High School people area always talking about TBD. Don’t pull it after only one season!

I really love this show!! Don’t Cancel it!!!!! NBC finally added an amazing show to their line-up, only to cancel it????? I think it would be foolish to cancel a wonderful show like this without giving it a decent try. Half a season??? NO WAY!! Please don’t cancel the show. I watch it every week (now I’ll have to watch it online) and haven’t missed an episode. PLEASE????

Please don’t cancel this show. This show is one of the best shows I have seen in a very long time. I make sure I am available EVERY week to watch this. Please do whatever you can to save this show. I can guarantee you I will not make myself available to watch another “reality” show.

The Black Donnellys is such an amazing show, and to just end it without any resolution would be nothing less than a crime. If the ratings are not good enough, maybe you could try more advertisements, especially during your other more successful series. I think if more people knew about the show, then they would watch it; it’s just that not many people DO know about it. Please keep this show, at least another season so we, the fans, can have some closure with it.

I only watch Heroes & The Black Donnellys on NBC. I encourage my friends and co-workers to watch aswell. Since these are the only NBC shows I/we watch, this is also the only way I am exposed to other NBC shows I could concieveably watch in the future, via NBC commercials. When you kill a show after only 5 or 6 episodes, you look like impatient, incompetent children that don’t know how to develop a relationship with your audience. I have a relationship with FOX network because I appreciate their agressive,if also sometimes hardheaded approach to programming. I CAN’T Stand “American Idol” and all the other mindless reality shows, but I still have respect for FOX because of their envelope pushing Action, comedy, and Drama.
The Black Donnellys and Heroes are the type of shows I can appreciate and could allow me to develop a relationship with a network(NBC). The replacement show you put on is CRAP, even the Actors in it know it is Crap, you can tell by the look in their eyes and the enthusiasm in which the execute their job. I could tell that from the 20 seconds or so I watched it(The last 20 seconds I’ll ever see of that crap)!
24 Sopranos CSI Deadwood Tudors Prison Break Lost; these are the shows of TV future, Action, Different sides of the law, Family issues, ethnic and cultural diversity/Pride & history, good guys standing up to bad guys, bad guys standin’ up for therselves.
These are all also facets of The Black Donnellys.

Just as an added comment, the following was also written to NBC at their e-mail address.
Dear NBC,
Whilst you thrash around wondering how it is that you’re losing “audience share” to cable programming, bewildered as to how people are leaving the Peacock Network, take a good, long hard look in the mirror.
Cancelling the Black Donnellys is yet one more example of how ignorant you are as to your viewing audiences taste and intelligence level.
I’m tired of network execs dumbing down programming to go for the lowest common denominator Jerry Springer mentality. I’m a 50 year old Irish American who works with his hands for a living, always has, and up to 6 weeks ago watched exactly 3 hours of network television; Lost, Jericho & 24, all on different networks than yours. I tuned in the Black Donnellys on it’s pilot night for one reason and one reason only. Moresco and Haggis do brilliant work, and I was sure that for once, I wouldn’t see a comedic caricature of what it’s like to grow up in a large Irish Catholic family. I was right. The show is brilliant, the acting top-rate. There is depth, complexity, layers and texture, actors who inhabit their characters and script writing done by people who understand our lives. My 19 year old son watches (watched) exactly one hour of television a week, the Black Donnellys was it for him. You just lost his viewership, and he’s in the demographic that you supposedly “crave”.
Personally, I couldn’t care less about your reality crap. I realize that it’s cheap to produce and as long as the advertisers continue to sheepishly give you their dollars, you’ll continue to insult our intelligence and try to force-feed us your latest take on the lengths that ordinary people will go to get their own 15 minutes of fame.
Got news, people, a lot of us work for a living, and I don’t care to see the latest screaming, shouting, jumping up and down moron trying desperately to get the attention from their hometown crowd that they feel they so richly deserve, it’s sickening.
In the Black Donnellys, I saw a show that had similar qualities to the others that I watch, it had craftsmanship and thought behind it, most of all, to me at least, it was very, very real. It so similarly paralleled the life I lived growing up, and the lives that my own sons have lived and know.
Is it any wonder that NYPD Blue’s creator left network TV and went to HBO to develop Deadwood? Ever wonder why the Soprano’s have lasted so long, or why The Wire is so real. The creator of that show, Ed Burns, lived the life, just as Moresco did. Ever wonder to yourselves why Rescue Me and the brilliance of Dennis Leary (another good proud Son of Eire) or The Shield and Michael Chiklis’ raw intensity found a home on cable networks. It’s because those shows were allowed to be what they were, and now have audiences and loyal viewers. No one attempted to get them to toe the lowest level of crap line.
The joke in all of this is that NBC owns Sci-Fi and one of the best written television dramas around, BSG, which isn’t about special effects at all, but is one of the most compelling character driven dramas around.
NBC, quit trying to force crap down our throats, we want quality. We want The Black Donnellys. The response over the last 5 days should have awakened you to something at the very least. Do you think that even one of the 14,000+ people who signed the petition tuned in your cheaply made, D-list actor show that you put on in place of it? Wake up, the only way your network is going to survive is with viewers, quit trying to tell us what it is that we want to watch, and start listening to us when we tell you, loudly, clearly and plainly what is we want to see. The ironic part of this, is that you probably drove the numbers even lower with the garbage that you put on and you’ll sit there on Tuesday morning wondering what happened and still be clueless and probably order up another reality clone. Get your heads out of Starbucks on Sunset, take a trip to the East Coast, to Detroit, to Chicago, to Philly or Cleveland. You’re won’t impress us walking around in our world, we work too hard to notice you and couldn’t care less, of all the people in the economic food chain, you’re probably the least relevant. Start listening to what we enjoy and want. Put it on the air and maybe, just maybe, NBC might start to get some viewers back.

Dear NBC,
This show is far more than the “Irish Sopranos” as you tried to market it, and I think you know that. It’s not very often that a television show tells such a compelling story, or prompts so many people to devote so much time and effort to saving it. In fact, almost never.
If your network does not renew the series, I strongly suspect another will pick it up, and be richly rewarded for doing so, in prestige even more so than ratings, for this is the kind of story that is remembered long after it is concluded. Do you really want to be remembered as the network that foolishly canned one of it’s most promising new shows in years?

I am a mother of three children (ages 3, 9 and 12) and my husband and I can’t wait until the kids are asleep to watch this show. It has captivated us to the point of addiction
We can’t wait until the show begins but dread it ending every Monday night! Currently, there are no shows on NBC that we watch. Before TBD we watched the other networks for shows like Criminal Minds, CSI, etc. But now TBD has taken over our TV world!!! There are no other shows like out there! From the cast, the raw emotions, the many different plots all wrapped up into one - basically, EVERYTHING ABOUT IT is AWESOME!!! It would truly be upsetting if NBC pulled it so early. Try a different time, different day of the week, something. But don’t pull it so quickly…Because after watching it you can’t help but become “hooked”! My single, bachelor brother watches it as well as my 60+ year old parents!!! It’s the greatest show out there and I’d hate to see it go. Please, please, please don’t make this big of a mistake to finally have a GREAT show on NBC!!!

This show is amazing, and it would be an absolute shame for it to get taken off the air. Currently several of my friends are getting in to the show too. With a little time, this will be one of the most popular shows on television, but not if you guys take it off so soon. Every episode has been on the top tv shows list on itunes. Please NBC, give this show a little more time and it will make you more money than you could imagine.

Please give this show a chance. I am a 36 year old female and my husband and I tune in faithfully to this show. We are educated people who are looking for a quality drama like TBD, NOT some more reality junk. TBD was the ONLY reason I watched NBC and I won’t be watching it anymore unless this show returns. I hope the execs over there pay attention to what the public is asking for- give it some time- is 4 or 5 weeks realistic to have an immediate number 1, especially in light of the other things going on- Heroes on hiatus and the NCAA tournament being telivised on CBS??? PLEASE wake up and pay attention and look at the blogs/petitions/emails/ that are begging for this show to be given another chance.

I love the show, and it is amazing, but my husband likes the show as well, and he is picky about what he watches, which is not much!!! He was enjoying the show and was a little upset (as well as myself) when it was not on Monday night and that, instead, “Thank God You’re Here” was on (which is not a good show, by the way!!!). I think that the network did not do much in the way of promoting the show the way it should have. I knew it was going to be on air months before it actually came out and was wondering where all the previews for the show were and why only about a week before the show actually aired did they finally show the previews for it–and no interviews or anything else. This is the only drama on network television I watch, except for “House” on Fox. I know a good show when I see it, and this one was a very good show.

I don’t watch NBC that much primarily because every time I get invested in a show it gets cancelled before you even give the show a chance. I love the Black Donnelly’s, and now I hear it is being cancelled. It is like you wanted this show to fail by putting it in a time slot with CSI Miami. Who do you expect to watch it. Studio 60 is not half a good at the Black Donnelly’s and you have given this show several chances this season and they have similar ratings. NBC just does not give their shows a chance.

I am 45 yrs old, educated, and love this show. I watch it with my husband. My teenage daughter watches it also. TBD reminds me of the film “The Departed”. It is gritty but also has heart and humor. Give this show another chance, please!!!

NBC used to give good shows a chance to find their audience. There is definitely an audience for TBD! The writing is top quality, which sets it miles ahead of most shows at the outset. The acting is perfect - you never doubt the authenticity of what’s happening. Jonathan Tucker and Thomas Guiry are fierce! The violence is handled beautifully. The story is compelling.
Have a weekend marathon showing all of the episodes through this one, then bring it back right after Heroes, and you’ll have a hit on your hands.
Don’t let quality like this slip away!

I’ve recently heard news of a possible cancellation of the new series The Black Donnellys. After hearing this news, it sent shivers up my spine and almost drove me to tears. Understand this show is one of the two shows I EVER tune in to watch every week. This show has become part of my life. I’ve visited nbc.com/the_black_donnellys at LEAST 10 times each day since the series has started.
This show is one of the best I’ve seen for awhile. Please keep this show on the air for all of us who’ve tuned in every Monday since February 26th. We love the show and we’re willing to do anything to help keep it running. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

As I’m sure you can see from this , and other TBD dedicated sites , there is growing resentment and anger toward your network. Hmmmmm! I wonder why this would be? Doesn’t the public happily drool when you dingle yet another reality crap bell?
NO!!! They do not! Now that most of us have the luxury of digital high-speed HDTV , We are accusstomed to be able to pick and choose what drivel or brilliance gets relayed through the tube. For six weeks you had millions of viewers enthralled(I stopped watching CSI:Miami). Now , sadly , along with whatever crap wedding bs you throw at us. These said millions of viewers will now be boycotting every show on your network.
I hope the price of the corner office is enough to subside you during the onslaught to follow.

3. Top Notch Directing.
4. Fresh and Fierce Story line
Why NBC Sucks
1. Cancel above mentioned show before it was even given a chance.
2. Not allow the rest of the episodes to air on there network.

I don’t even understand the logic behind this. Why would you even consider canceling this show. Why would you replace it with a reality show. When was the last time you guys created a reality show that lasted for years and gave you consistant ratings. The Black Donnellys would do just this if you gave it a chance. For god sakes play it after Heroes and give it a few advertisments. Don’t put it on after that crapfest of a game show and leave it to die. I mean what is the logic. You don’t want a hit show? You don’t want to pull yourself out of the 4th place pit you have put yourself in? Explain it to me.

NBC, I don’t think I can honestly even remember all of the things I have done just to make sure I am in front of my television on Monday nights at 10pm just so I could watch The Black Donnellys. I have skipped class, broken my car’s radiator, faked a stomach ache during a dinner out with friends, driven five miles to a friend’s place when my tv wouldn’t work and more. And now to learn all of those sacrifices were for what? Some show to be cancelled and blatantly disliked by it’s own network? No, this show deserves another chance. Screw what the media says because you have an amazing show on your hands with an amazing fanbase and I am so bloody confused as to why you would want to shove it into the dark corner hoping people will forget about it. I’m sure you’ve noticed how dedicated the fans are to the show and we would just love for it to be on the air for the full season like it rightly deserves. It’s a hell of a lot better than this crap reality tv show you have going now and I’m appalled to think that this show out of all the shows took TBD’s place. It makes me ashamed of NBC as a whole.

NBC - seriously - why would you cancel such an exciting, riviting show. One of the reasons I tune into NBC is to watch the Black Donnelly’s and Heros. That is what you have going. Don’t cancel this show - it would be a huge mistake for your network.. Give this show more of a chance - it really deserves it. It keeps me awake at night - other shows put me to sleep.

I was totally disgusted when I found out that The Black Donnellys was cancelled. It has by far the best writing, acting and on the edge of your seat storylines available on TV today!! I haven’t loved a program more since the Sopranos!!! Wake up and smell the coffee NBC!!! You screwed up but you can still redeem yourself…get The Black Donnellys back on TV ASAP!!!

This is the last straw! I am so tired of these old, out of touch network execs trying to tell us what we want to see. The Black Donnelly’s was the best show to hit network television in a long time. We want it back and until we get it we will not be watching NBC. Maybe when your ratings start to fall you’ll start to value your viewers. This is a new day and age, we will not be bullied into watching junk like Thank God You’re Here. News Flash we are not all fifty-five year old reality show addicts. Some of us actually like shows with substance and heart. Bring back TBD!!!!

I was p*ssed when I found out that TBD was being canceled. NBC what r u thinking? This show is a diamond in the rough. It has the passion and heart to be the next Soprano’s maybe even better. These characters are addictive and the story line in incredible. It didn’t even get a chance. It was only on the air for like three or four weeks. Why don’t you try putting it on another night and time like after Heroes. Stop trying to tell us what we want to watch and listen to us. We want Jimmy, Tommy, Kevin and Sean. Save TBD!!!

I believe you are making a significant mistake by pulling The Black Donnellys off the air.
Personally, it’s is my favorite show and the only show I watch regularly on NBC. After the pilot episode (which my wife and I watched 3 times), we told many friends, family members and co-workers who either watched the pilot on our DVR or online. Every single person we know who watched the pilot is hooked and The Black Donnellys is a common topic at work and social functions now. Our acquaintances I speak of, as well and my wife and I, are upper-middle class and in our late 20s to early 40s.
My suggestion is to air Season 1 again this summer, with much more promotion prior to airing the pilot episode.

Cancelling a show after only airing half a season is ridiculous. I understand that the show is only on hiatus right now, but please put the show back on the air. Airing it starting with the pilot again would be a good idea, but giving it a bit more promotion would definitely help. Please don’t pull the plug on the most well written drama on television today.

There has only been 8 episodes! Give it a chance!! Give it some more adversiting time and a dedicated time slot because if you shuffle it around, it will most definitely be doomed!!
The writing is superb, the cast is stellar! The irish-descent family dymanic was protrayed so true to life and except for the violent crime, murders, beating and stuff, the Donnelleys are much like my own irish-descended family!
Its a refreshing look at a style of crime genre that is usually only focused on italian-americans or african-americans.
On another note, being in Canada, I am not able to have access to on-line only episodes, and iTunes.ca does not have episodes available either. So NBC HAS to keep this family on the air. I really don’t see any other option!! Americans are not the only ones out there watching tv!!

Let it build a fan base! Didn’t it take a while for ER, Friends, Scrubs, etc., to find its niche? Seriously, folks. To toss over such a superior example of what a television show should be for yet another reality show is simply ridiculous. At the very least, let the season play itself out and allow the story-lines that have been developed to conclude!!

This show is one of the few good shows out there mainly because it doesn’t treat the viewers as idiots, please don’t cancel it!

To whom it may concern,
This show has so much potential! It has both great actors and storyline. Advertisement for this shows success is key and I do not think there is enough! I was not aware this show even existed! I happened to stumble upon it and once I did, I was hooked. No other show has ever done that! I’m sure if given enough time and publicity you will see more people with similar thoughts! Already 23,000 people have been so affected by only a couple shows that their willing to take time from their lives and sign a petition to keep this show on the air. That has to mean something! Take a chance on this show! Like the 23,000 viewers did the first time they watched it!

This is one of the best shows I have seen in awhile. Please give it time to grow. A lot of good shows take some time to get a huge fan base. I truly beleive NBC is making a big mistake. I know I watched CBS on MOndays at 10 but once The Black Donnellys came on I stopped watching CBS. If this show gets canceled I will stop watching NBC all together.

If NBC wants twentysomething, college educated viewers with disposable income, KEEP the Black Donnellys. If you think my husband and I are going to watch some lame reality show (Thank God You’re Here? The REAL Wedding Crashers? Come on! Please!) you are sorely mistaken. The Black Donnellys is the best network drama I have seen in YEARS. Donnellys Rule!

The worst decision in a long time was to take a show like ‘The Black Donnelly’s’ off the air, only to replace it with another idiotic reality show that NO ONE wants to see.
I’d like to meet the ‘genius’ who made that decision - if NBC wonders why it’s not if first place - this is it!
Please put the show back on the air & let it begin & continue to flourish as more and more fans realize how refreshing it is to have a good drama to watch.
One can only take so much game show and reality TV garbage.

What happened to NBC? The Black Donnellys is a GREAT show! There are only two TV shows I watch Heroes & The Black Donnellys. If TBD is taken off the air I will STOP Heroes as well (It is not like you took it off the air for over a month!!) I will write off NBC completely!
Maybe HBO will pick up TBD and they will stay with it!!! I thought a Peacock was proud?

With the bombardment of non-sensical crap that fills so many prime time spots these days, don’t you think your network should make it a new goal to stand out from the crowd and push for great drama. The Black Donnely’s is a breath of fresh and exciting air. The show is well written, and wonderfully acted-but you guys already know that. Channels such as USA or TNT are quickly learning that those great shows are worth keeping and pushing for-The Closer, Monk…Hello? You have a fantastic show-don’t throw it away.

What are you thinking? My husband and I are hooked on the Black Donnellys. Its an incredible show. Its interesting, exciting, addictive…. I went through your list of shows on the NBC website because I wanted to be objective….but the truth is I don’t watch any of the other NBC shows. I use to watch Deal or No Deal but watching people make stupid decisions based on greed got old fast. I hope you’ll reconsider. The Black Donnellys is wonderful. Please bring it back.

Please do not cancel the Black Donnelly’s. It is smart, funny and it always leaves you on the edge of your seat. It is so refreshing to have something besides a medical or police / court room drama, or some mindless dreck such as King of Queens (I know that is on CBS - which beyond all comprehension has lasted TEN years), and a good show such as the Black Donnelly’s can not last ONE full season???!!!??? Are you mad at the Irish, the Catholics or both?

The Black Donnellys is one of the Best shows on T.V. and is worthy of a chance to build an audience instead of cancelling it in favor of another mindless reality program.Just look at your own forums and do a search on the internet to see all the support this show is getting. Every person I know that watched this show was imediatley hooked and was talked about at work the next day.Show that you are a network that believes in quality programmin instead of cheap to produce crap like game shows and reality programs

Dear NBC big wigs, its not very often that a show comes along where tons of fans talk about it, to the point that everyone around them have to check it out, but in The Black Donnellys, you have one of those shows. I know this because everyone that i talk to on a regular basis now is trying to watch this show. you should really find a way to keep this show on the air, because it has a hugh following. The MOST followed events in history all deal in one thing, atleast in chicago they do, and that one thing is the mob, plus in chicago you have a ton of Irish, for christ sake we dye the river green for St. Patricks day. So if you think about chicago alone, we all like the mob and the Irish, well ding ding ding we have a winner with The Black Donnellys. I guess in the end you should just really consider what your losing by taking this show off the air.

The Black Donnellys is a great show. I was immediately addicted to it and couldn’t wait until Monday night to see the next episode. I don’t watch reality shows and this show was such a nice change of pace from the comedies I watch on NBC. Please give it another chance. Everyone I know who watches it loves it like I do. Please reconsider!!!

I actually think that Black Donnelly’s is too good for NBC and HBO should pick it up. It would be the perfect post Soprano’s show. NBC should cut the stupid comedy show, “Thank god you’re here” (which isn’t even funny) and start airing this show again. There’s a lot of crap on tv and this show was definitely a great one.

The Black Donnelly’s is a show that has the potential to become another popular, long-running series. If NBC used low scores from focus groups or the Nielson ratings as the criteria to cancel the series they made a huge mistake. Any viewer that has watched the show can’t help being pulled into the storyline by the intricate character development the writers have so meticulously orchestrated over the past several weeks. The Black Donnelly’s deserves a chance; keep it on the air.

Dear NBC,
What were you thinking when you cancelled The Black Donnellys. There are not many TV shows these days that are entertaining or worth watching, but the Donnellys are different. I have never felt the need to write about a TV show until now. You cancelled a great show that was catching on. You have to have more patience and let the viewership develope. You put that lousy unfunny show in its place. Guys, wake up and smell the coffee. TBD was a great show that became very addictive. Now I have to go cold turkey. BRING BACK TBD!!!!!

To whom it may concern, should they condescend to listen,
I understand there is a system in place used to allegedly estimate the number of people watching network programs. I am not interested in debating the accuracy of this system, I am only here to petition the continuance of a show I perceived most likely designed as a mini series, like Heroes. I imagined another 5 to 10 episodes would have brought our unlikely hero to conclusion, and as Joey Ice Cream could not possibly be destined to narrate in prison limbo forever, it is not that much of a stretch for a network to follow through and finish what it was touting as a masterpiece before it’s release.
I am very engaged in this show at this point, and I suppose it will suffice if the miniseries, completed, should be available on DVD at some point in the future. However, it appears cowardly and preemptive for NBC to remove such a fantastic, engaging show.
I hope the network reconsiders this decision. The audience is there.
I think it’s also important to know I only just yesterday (April 16) discovered the show had actually been pulled off the air. Therefore there are likely many more viewers who have yet to learn they should be protesting The Black Donnellys removal.

NBC is making a huge mistake by taking the black donnellys off the air. My husband and I gave up on T.V., if we have to watch another reality show (like the ones you are planning to replace TBD with) we will go back to reading or watching a movie. NBC should really give this show a chance. It has been a long time since my husband and I have enjoyed a show together, let me tell you how addicting the show is, my husband changed his hours at work to be home in time to watch the black donnellys. Give the show one more chance, let it follow heroes, which is how we found the black donnellys in the first place. My daughters and I really enjoy Heroes. My family gets their homework, chores and baths early so we can all watch Heros together. Then my husband and I enjoy the black donnellys, finally a reason to love Mondays. NBC really needs to get it together and find out what their viewers want, and maybe replace whoever is in charge of programming. I personally can’t think of anyone I know who would pick Donald Trump, or Wedding Crashers over the Black Donnellys. Everyone in my office is so disappointed, we have a lot of word to mouth. Heroes became huge in our office Tuesdays lunch time discussion, as now was the Black Donnellys. Bring it back or I’ll just have to turn of the T.V. again. I should add I am very much an NBC watcher. Mon-Heros, Tues-law & Order, Wed-Crossing Jordon, Thurs-from 8p.m-1:30a.m,Fri-Law & Order, Sun-Deal or No Deal. My husband gets home from work at 11:00p.m. and watches Jay and Conan every night! Please don’t lose our viewership over a VERY BAD DECISION! Bring back the BLACK DONNELLYS and finally give the NBC viewers what they deserve!

My god i loved this show it was the only thing i looked forward to coming home mondays after work this is terrible it was honestly my favorite show on television if you want to cancel it at least put the rest of the season out on dvd or something so i can see the end

I can totally relate to all of these moms who share this show on Monday night with their husbands! I race home from choir, tuck in my three kids, and cuddle with my honey to this absolutely FANTASTIC show. I have long stopped watching ER, and you took away my “Medium” and now this! You have nothing else for me! It is truly the only show I really look forward to watching. You have won over the happy couples sharing some time together…what a great demographic! We are a reliable and predictible group…and we all probably remember “Must See TV”, when NBC was at the top. Maybe you could be again if you would stop cancelling or moving any shows that are truly worth while!

Not until just last week did I realize they took The Black Donnellys off the air. I thought they just switched day and time of the show. I was horrified to go on line and find out they were thinking of cancelling the show, and now can only view the show on line. I love this show to death. NBC PLEASE put this show back on t.v!! I dont think I can handle only one season of it, and have to keep viewing it on line. I always looked forward to Mondays because of watching the Black Donnellys….now there is NOTHING to watch! So Save The Donnelly Brothers, because they are saving a lot of people out there displaying “Family Above All”!!

Please reconsider keeping The Black Donnellys on the air. It was the only thing I watched on Monday nights and really looked forward to it weekly. The writing is great, the acting is great and the music is great. Until last night’s episode I never knew what folding the flag really meant although I’ve seen it done at many funerals. I’m part Irish so I love element of the show. Please bring it back!!!

NBC/Network television step up and get with the program and keep the Black Donnelly’s on the air. Take a nod from your predecessors and STOP making 8-12 shows for the same time slot and make a few really good shows and give them time to find their audience. This is not the only show that has driven me to point of boycotting all network television but it is the last straw. When the Black Donnelly’s first cam on the air I considered not watching it. Why you ask? Well it is not b/c I didn’t like it, or that I thought it wasn’t a good show but I thought to myself “ Why? What’s the point? They are only going to cancel it after one season or half a season” And guess what I was correct. I must be psychic. I am fed up! And being a fed viewer means I will be a former viewer. I am done with Network television. I am fed up with all the crap. And even the decent shows that are still on the air, their days are numbered with me as well do to the CONSTANT interruptions and repeats. Repeats 4 weeks in to a new season, and then 4 -6 weeks of repeats! RIDICULOUS! I am DONE!

Please don’t cancel The Black Donnellys, the show, especially the last few episodes have been great. Give it time or move it to one of your other networks on cable (such as USA) where it could have more freedom (where you don’t have to make one of the episodes online only). Once Sopranos is over, people are def. going to be looking at this show too with more interest to get there “mob show” fix.

i’d just like to say that the canadian audience is not being seen by nbc.com. due too the fact the the crtc(canadian radio and televison commission) will not allow us to download content from the site. so we have to go around and download it third party. Huge fan of the show, along with all my friends, it was part of our monday ngiht line up, now it takes a couple days too find a web rip. i hope it can be saved
